HLH Yeastworks in the News!

A while back we sent some of our brews to the guys at Spokane, Washington’s Genus Brewing, who run a Sunday morning videocast that’s been a source of inspiration.  They’ve reviewed a couple of them on air.  I quite enjoy the befuddled look Peter and Tim have on their faces as they read the bottles.

Badwater Basin Gose

“This is really, really good gose – the salt level is above what a traditional gose would be, but I am not disliking it at all.  There’s great flavors in there – especially the lime didn’t get that really sweet fruity pebbles – it stayed on lime…. Cilantro I’m not getting coming through – I think it is an important flavor in here, but I can’t necessarily pick it out.”

Murder Hornet Honey IPA

“Well this is tasting pretty tasty – definitely in that Northwesty kinda feel….  if this is you, good job!”

We also submitted some labels to the 2021 Label Contest at Brew Your Own Magazine and got an honorable mention for Jigokudani Peach Ale, so that’s something!
