What's going on at the Yeastworks?

If you're like me, lately you've been musing that there's just not enough Sun Ra in your life. Thank goodness then for our new brew, Outer Spaceways Double IPA—one sip and you'll be riding the Comet Kohoutek straightaways to the Outer Planes of There!

The new batch of Murder Hornet Honey IPA is currently dry-hopping—here we see it in its more innocent days as a simple wort.

And with Thanksgiving right around the corner we've devised a special holiday recipe about which you'll hear more later. We used a Kveik yeast on this one and it went crazy—here it is in all its glorious mess.

There's one other UTR brew that I'm currently writing up for your reading pleasure, but you'll have to wait for the next newsletter to hear about that one!

A dark, rustic maltiness underpinning a freewheeling grapefruity hop aroma—out of this world!
Ingredients
  • Grain bill: Skagit Valley Obsidian Malt
  • Hops: Magnum, Nugget, Elixir, Zappa
  • Yeast: Imperial A20 Citrus
